Yana Grammer

Current New Earth leadership
At a glance

New Earth co-founder and senior executive. New Earth's current website labels Yana Grammer Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer while its biographical text also describes her Executive Vice President role; the organization's FY2024 IRS filing lists Yana Simone-Grammer as Executive Vice President. A 2026 Culver City Equity and Human Relations Award subcommittee report identifies her as Executive Director of New Earth Life. CCR preserves these source-specific titles rather than silently selecting one.

Context note

Current source titles are not fully consistent: New Earth's page heading calls Grammer Chief Executive Officer while the same page's biography refers to her Executive Vice President role; the FY2024 Form 990 likewise lists Executive Vice President, and a 2026 Culver City award-subcommittee report uses Executive Director. These discrepancies are preserved as source-specific titles. This record does not infer her personal involvement in litigation strategy or contractual approval beyond what a source specifically establishes. In a February 4, 2026 sworn declaration filed in New Earth v. CCUSD, Grammer stated that New Earth priced the CCUSD project to cover project expenses and to leave what a for-profit company would call profit, which as a nonprofit would be used for unexpected project costs and other New Earth projects. CCR records that as her sworn explanation of project pricing, not as a court finding of misconduct.
