Context note

The City Council staff report says the earlier 175-room entitlement received four extensions while that applicant sought construction funding and identifies Verdant Culver City LLC as a new applicant team that obtained owner permission to file a reduced-scope project in October 2024. The same report later states that the subject project is under 'new ownership,' but the records reviewed in this pass do not separately identify the current fee-title owner; CCR therefore does not equate applicant status with ownership. The City's active-project page lists Angel Orozco of Greens Group as applicant information, while the Planning Commission project summary identifies Verdant Culver City LLC as the applicant. Those source-specific labels are preserved rather than collapsed into an inferred corporate-control relationship.
