City contribution and fee waivers documented for 2024 affordable-housing amendment

The City's active-project page lists Justinian Jampol/Wende Museum as applicant for the 10808-10860 Culver Boulevard Creative Community Center and shows the project adopted January 24, 2022. The City's June 10, 2024 meeting summary states that Council approved a second amendment to the MOU and lease to include affordable housing, with three affordable units and one manager unit becoming City property; Wende was responsible for entitlement, construction and maintenance, while the City approved a $600,000 contribution and approximately $140,000 in fee waivers. The Wende's own site now describes the Community Center at 10858 Culver Boulevard as open. Jampol's separate Culver City Forward governance role is an institutional bridge, not evidence that Culver City Forward directed or participated in the Wende project.
