Katz estimates that a district facilities manager would spend about 12 hours during the first two to three weeks locating documents, followed by roughly 8 additional hours over the rest of the assignment answering miscellaneous information requests.

He estimates that each school-site senior administrator or principal would spend about two hours walking the site with the consulting team plus about one hour of follow-up.

For the Superintendent and Chief Business Official together, Katz estimates roughly four to six hours per week during the four-to-five-month study for progress review, evaluation of options, financial context and feedback on whether presentations and discussion topics matched Board expectations.
